Crafting Catalyst: Our Journey

I’m a mom and grandmother. When my kids were young, like many other moms, I wanted to earn extra income to help make ends meet and have a little extra fun money. The problem was, the only work I could find that would allow me to be home when the kids were was providing childcare for other working moms, which often meant 10 to 12 hours a day for less than minimum wage.

Now, don’t take me wrong. I loved raising my nephews and the little girls I had from birth to age six.  We are still very close. When we learned we were going to be grandparents, we moved to Houston to be closer to our son and the incoming grandkids. The problem with that plan was that moving meant unemployment. Still, the family was more important.

Catalyst Realm was founded on the idea of creating opportunities for moms, jobs that allow moms the flexibility to create their own schedules so they could get the kids off to school, go to work for a few hours, and be home before the kids get out of school.

This working model has become so popular, Catalyst now employs dads, grandparents, active seniors, high school and college students, and basically anyone who needs the flexibility to schedule their work around important things in their lives like family, school, and other interests.

Catalyst Realm is now a diverse community, helping retailers, consumer goods companies, and developers efficiently manage store tasks. Let's connect and explore the possibilities together!
